Sunny Isles condos
Sunny Isles Beach, from motels to luxury condos
In 1920, what we now know as Sunny Isles was just a parcel of land bought by a certain Harvey Baker Graves to develop a tourist resort. The island was not even accessible by car until 1925, with the construction of the Haulover bridge from Miami Beach.
In the 1950s and 1960s, the recent city really booms and becomes a major touristic destination, with more than 30 new hotels and motels, with the typical one-story architecture. A half-mile long area was even designated a historic site, due to these famous hotels.
It’s in the early 2000’s that Sunny Isles that the face of the city really changes and takes a decisive turn. Luxury condos and hotels are flourishing everywhere in the city, replacing the historic hotels and motels.

This residential skyscraper of 60 stories made headlines from the day of its announcement to its completion because of its particularity: the elevator takes you up to your condo but in your car! Each flat has his own private garage directly leading to its living room.
Sunny Isles is also where you can find the Regalia, a luxury boutique building of 39 full floor residences, offering unobstructed views through floor-to-ceiling windows.
